HORIBA Instruments' North American Semiconductor group is searching for a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their team in Reno, NV. This key role requires the ability to assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical components and electro-mechanical components in a cleanroom environment while utilizing various pressure, flow, calibration, and temperature instrumentation. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing product flow testing, verifying test results, and ensuring quality standards are met. To excel in this position, the candidate should possess strong knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, as well as general electrical assembly experience. Excellent soldering skills and the ability to work from detailed assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications under guidance of the manufacturing engineer are also essential. A background in MS Windows and MS Office, with emphasis on Excel, is highly desirable. While a certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience is preferred, we encourage applications from qualified candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills and expertise.
