Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, IMS, DB2, and Java.
  • Analyze existing applications and formulate logic for new applications, devising procedures and preparing flowcharting.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to develop code for internal and external clients' software solutions.
  • Perform corrective measures for code deficiencies and escalate alternative proposals.
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, performing testing and validation requirements for code changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Typically 2+ years of relevant experience or a high school diploma with 4+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
  • IBM Rational Tools experience a plus.

  • Working on problems of moderate scope, analyzing situations or data, and exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices.
