We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Service Person to join our team at Ecolab. As a Mechanical Service Person, you will be responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals and ensuring the safe operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer delivery of chemicals in a safe and efficient manner
  • Operate a small straight truck over congested city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain, and rural roads
  • Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles used to deliver chemicals
  • Load trailers and schedule daily runs to meet customer delivery requirements
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date delivery location maps and operate in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Communicate regularly with sales and supervisor to report field problems and safety hazards
  • Follow Zero Defect Delivery procedures for all delivery assignments
Requirements:
  • Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat & Tanker endorsements
  • ~3 years commercial driving experience, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations from the past 3 years required
  • Ability to back and parallel park bulk tankers, straight trucks, semi-trucks, and trailers into narrow passages
  • Knowledge of equipment, compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials
