We are seeking adjunct faculty members to teach language courses in a multicultural environment. As a Language Course Educator, you will be responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and be committed to facilitating student success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging language courses for adult learners
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
- Manage classroom and online learning environments
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional materials
- Minimum two years' experience teaching adults
- Ability to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus
- Experience with online or virtual teaching preferred
- Access to personal technology and a home computer
- Teaching experience in language courses
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design
