Job Overview

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, the individual will assist in the operation of after-school activities, community recreational initiatives, and special events catering to children, teenagers, adults, seniors, and various community members. The role involves supporting the Recreation Leader in the planning, execution, oversight, and assessment of recreational programs, alongside performing all related responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required (verification of education will be conducted). A minimum of six (6) months of relevant work experience is necessary.

Certification in the Florida Department of Children and Families' forty (40) hour introductory childcare training is mandatory or the ability to secure this certification within ninety (90) days of employment.

Current CPR and First Aid certifications are essential or the capability to obtain these certifications within thirty (30) days of employment.

Successful completion of a Level II background check from the State of Florida is required. A valid Florida driver's license is also necessary.

This position is classified as non-represented.
