Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Sonora, California. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to detect and treat diseases, using advanced radioisotope equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- Operate and maintain radioisotope equipment, ensuring accurate and safe use.
- Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, including blood volume, red cell survival, and fat absorption studies.
- Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys, adhering to departmental procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
- State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
