We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as School Building Maintenance Specialists. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of school facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, ensuring that students and staff have a positive and productive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and waxing floors.
  • Maintain carpets by using machine shampooers to remove dirt and stains.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and replenishing supplies.
  • Dust furniture, shelves, and other surfaces to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins throughout the school building.
  • Assist with setting up and taking down furniture for special events or activities.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
