We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our Surgical Services Unit at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the staff and resources of our Operating Rooms and C-Section suites, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily patient care activities of the Operating Room, Recovery Room, Pre Op, and Pain.
- Assure efficient utilization of OR, PACU and Pre OP resources by proactively managing the schedule in collaboration with anesthesiology and surgeons.
- Oversee all staff in the OR, PACU, Pre OP, and Pain, ensuring a safe and supportive work environment.
- Manage staff and financial resources, ensuring patient and employee satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality care.
- Align the unit's goals with the hospital's strategic objectives, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
- BLS certification required at time of hire.
- Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience: Previous Nurse leadership experience in the Operating Room is preferred.
