We are seeking a part-time Occupational Health Medical Provider to join our team at Corewell Health in Big Rapids, MI. The successful candidate will work on a casual basis, providing medical care to patients of varying types and acuity. This role involves providing provider coverage for hospital group sites.
Key Responsibilities- Under physician supervision, provide medical care to patients with various conditions, including those requiring DOT certification.
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs related to occupational health.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Document patient information in medical records and dictate relevant details as needed.
- Provide input into strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of services.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A Master's degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or a related field, with current licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Three years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in occupational health, urgent care, emergency department, or orthopedics.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C), depending on the chosen specialty.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000, based on industry standards and the location of Big Rapids, MI.
