About the Role

Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled SIGINT Operator to join our team in the Washington Metropolitan Area. As a Technical Specialist - SIGINT Collection, you will conduct technical SIGINT collection in support of customer operations. You will be part of a highly qualified team supporting operations that have the highest impact to National Security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical SIGINT collection in support of customer operations
  • Support operations that have the highest impact to National Security
  • Customer specific training is required and provided, as well as on the job training
  • Work location is in the WMA and involves shift work

Requirements

  • Minimum TS/SCI with FSP Polygraph
  • Knowledgeable in Ground or Air SIGINT collection operations
  • In depth knowledge of SIGINT collection equipment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Military background or equivalent operations experience

Desired Skills

  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills
  • Background in SIGINT collection
  • Experience working in an Operations Center
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a small team
  • Technical competency in one of the following fields: SIGINT Collection/Analysis/Targeting, ELINT Collection/Analysis, Electronic Warfare (EW), Cryptologic Linguist, Radio Operations, Cyber Security, Network Engineering/Security, Information Technology (with degree), HAM Operations and certification

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) years relevant experience
  • Direct relevant and military experience can be applied in lieu of a degree

Requirements

This role requires advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have broad knowledge of project management. Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
