Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVACR Instructor to join our team at Universal Technical Institute. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and skills of our students, imparting your expert knowledge and passion for the HVACR industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive learning environments that foster students' passion for the HVACR industry.
  • Lead by example and provide practical demonstrations, ensuring students gain real-world experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
  • Collaborate with our education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones that align with industry trends and advancements.
  • Guide and mentor students on their individual projects, encouraging them to think critically and find innovative solutions.
  • Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of practical work experience in the field.
  • Certifications: EPA 608/Universal is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with students and fellow staff.
  • Patient and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student learns at their own pace.
