About the Job

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced movers and drivers to join our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Northbrook, Illinois. As a mover and driver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service while safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for customers
  • Safely maneuver a 26' box truck and assist with truck inspections and moving equipment inventory
  • Accurately complete paperwork and payment collection
  • Work effectively as a team leader and communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • General labor experience is helpful, but not required
  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude and demeanor are essential
  • Strong logic and math skills, as well as the ability to lift heavy items (100 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required for drivers
