Role Summary:

The CDL Driver is required to possess a Class A driver's license and be ready to participate in a construction team. The primary responsibility includes transporting heavy machinery to various job locations and actively engaging in construction tasks related to the installation of underground telecommunications cables and fiber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a valid CDL for transporting equipment to work sites.
  • Successfully complete drug and background screenings.
  • Work sites may vary across Texas, with a base location in Pharr, TX.
  • No prior experience in telecommunications is necessary; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to read maps and follow both written and verbal directions.
  • Adhere to traffic regulations and established transportation protocols.
  • Prepare job sites with appropriate signage and ensure safety gear is worn by all team members.
  • Follow service requirements and safety guidelines for equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with site clean-up as required.
  • Capable of working in diverse environmental conditions, including high noise levels and extreme temperatures.
  • Physically prepared to sit, stand, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
  • Utilize full range of motion in hands, arms, legs, and wrists to operate necessary tools and perform assigned duties.
