About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the medical clinic in a correctional facility. The ideal candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for patients, preparing necessary paperwork, receiving patients, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage mental health caseload reminders in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Process patients through the EHR system.
  • Schedule patients for appointments and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate office correspondences and disseminate information to relevant staff members.
  • Screen and distribute offender sick call requests.
  • Create reminders for sick call and referral upon disposition.
  • Track numbers for various reports, including Access to Care and Monthly Activities.
  • Act as a courier to facilitate EMR operations.
  • Answer phones, relay accurate messages, and screen calls for clinicians.
  • Obtain office supplies and forms as needed.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned.
