We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Senior Retail Operations Manager to join our dynamic ice cream shop team at Ben & Jerry's - Canton.

Responsibilities

  • To assist managing the retail operations of this shop to include planning, operations, equipment maintenance, marketing, and customer satisfaction.">
  • To ensure that all systems fully support and comply with franchise operating systems.">
  • To provide hands-on training support for daily operations, customer relations, staff orientation, and cleanliness.">
  • Manage the shop staff, ranging from 10 to 50 employees.">
  • Manage the training, orientation, and development for all shop employees.">
  • Establish a motivating work environment that encourages employee involvement with job advancement aligned with individual goals.">
  • Supervise the implementation of all shop policies and procedures.">
  • Implement systems and procedures outlined in our Operating System Manual for accurate register, cash, and financial transactions.">
  • Manage the procurement and storage of on-site inventories (ordering and putting away deliveries).">
  • Adhere to in-store marketing plan and assist with local store marketing as outlined by Shop Manager, District Manager or Franchisee.">
  • Run/Operate a successful cake program including organizing orders, equipment, and product, customer communication, and preparing/decorating custom and display cakes.">
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth store operations.">
  • Help respond and handle customer complaints within the shop.">
  • Maintain and safely operate all equipment within the shop.">

Requirements

Prior experience in general manager, catering manager, operations manager, supervisor, shift lead, Restaurant assistant general manager, or other restaurant job is highly desirable: Ben & Jerry's, Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Starbucks, Panera Bread, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King, In-N-Out Burger.
