Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Homestead Florida City. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions and review management reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Compile and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff to resolve issues and address concerns.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including check-in, check-out, and switchboard operations.
  • Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports, including the Daily Operating Report and Discount Programs.
  • Audit and reconcile all Front Desk and Food & Beverage Cashier's work.
  • Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
  • Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy of all numbers reported.
  • Input and update financial information into corporate communications network.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required.
  • Keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events or deviations from policies or procedures.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction and respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Guest Service Experience preferred.
  • Computer knowledge/skills required.
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Working Conditions

This is a late/overnight shift position that requires a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
