Long-term Care Certified Nursing Assistant Opportunity

Lakeside Health and Rehab Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

About the Role

As a CNA at Lakeside Health and Rehab Center, you will provide routine daily nursing services to assigned residents in a manner that is caring, compassionate, and customer-oriented. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Treating and caring for residents with dignity and respect
  • Delivering meals and performing feeding assistance to residents and providing hydration
  • Making rounds and providing proper resident care and service
  • Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
  • Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
  • Providing assistance to residents for showers or baths
  • Providing proper skin care and promptly reporting observations of skin breakdown and pressure areas
  • Possessing reliable transportation and the ability to be on time to assigned shifts
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be a current Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Illinois
  • Be a professional team player with a commitment to maintaining a reliable shift history
  • Be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on providing genuine hometown care
  • Be enthusiastic about helping others and being part of a team who focuses on the same
  • Be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant CNA program
