About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fermentation Technician to join our team at Meati Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fermentation equipment, ensuring the highest quality and food safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain fermentation equipment, including cleaning and sanitizing vessels and equipment.
  • Manage fermentation processes, including monitoring temperature, pH, and other critical parameters.
  • Accurately measure and handle chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing purposes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Document processes and metrics accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on fermentation equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and routine replacements.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work well with others, and participate as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail, dedicated to a high caliber of work performance.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand frequently.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, and perform hand and arm motions.
Work Schedule

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $20.50, plus a $1.00 shift differential, and opportunities for quarterly bonuses and equity. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with company match, generous PTO and floating holidays, and more.
