Avail Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality controls in all activities, procedures, inspections, audits, reports, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain a documented quality assurance program.
- Participate in contract/design reviews to ensure that client technical and quality requirements are included.
- Interface with clients and suppliers for quality issues and requirements.
- Direct or perform quality training as applicable.
- Perform on-site and off-site surveillance to ensure that Quality Assurance Programs are met.
- Perform Quality Assurance reviews or approval of qualification and verification plans and Purchase Order Documentation Files.
- Reviews engineering drawings to ensure that client technical and quality requirements and Quality Assurance Program requirements are met.
- Monitors quality activities to ensure that Quality Assurance Program requirements are met.
- Identifies and resolves quality problems, including determination of Reportability issues.
- Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
- Manages the work plan, sets timelines and milestones, and involves stakeholders to deliver on time.
- Anticipates having to adapt work methods to changing technology and environments.
- Keeps stakeholders up to date on the progress of the service they are receiving and changes that affect them.
- Provides suggestions and/or takes actions that result in improved work processes, communications, or task performance.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or Technology degree, required.
- Post secondary technical and/or quality training, preferred.
- Required to have at least 2 years of professional experience in a quality related field.
- Professional experience or knowledge with the following:
- Managed and performed calibrations on testing equipment.
- Initiated and managed NCR's, deviations, and corrective/preventative actions.
- Conducted trainings on internal quality procedures.
- Populated and analyzed data for improvements.
- Performed internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ISO 9001 standards.
- Developed and implemented quality plans and procedures to ensure consistent and reliable manufacturing processes.
