Job SummaryKaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time (0.8 FTE) Physician Assistant to join our Tacoma Medical Center team in Tacoma, Washington.
Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Orthopedics, or Urgent Care is preferred, but we will also consider newly graduated providers or providers who have worked in Family Practice and other specialties.
You'll be working in a full-time dedicated Occupational Medicine clinic within the medical center, spending about 85% of your time providing workers compensation injury care and about 15% of the time doing employer exams.
All appointments are scheduled with an average number of patients per day between 16 and 18.
Tacoma Medical Center is a multispecialty medical center with Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Lab on site.
You'll be working with two board-certified Occupational Medicine Physicians.
Office hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.

There is no night, weekend, or holiday work, and there is no call.
Compensation and BenefitsThe entire salary range for this position is $128,619 to $151,317 and will be prorated based on FTE.
Placement of new hires will be in the range of $128,619 to $143,751 based on factors such as education, training, or experience.

Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan.
Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.
