Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as a Utility Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for locating and identifying underground facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate Underground Facilities: Use specialized equipment to pinpoint the paths of cables, pipes, and other conduits that carry utilities underground.
  • Work in Various Environments: Perform duties in and around construction zones, residential, commercial, industrial, and rural areas, in all types of weather conditions.
  • Interpret Job Orders and Maps: Effectively route and perform duties based on job order tickets, blueprints, and maps.
  • Communicate with Customers and Teams: Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with management, contractors, and utility customers to ensure a damage-free environment.
  • Travel and Equipment Use: Travel to different ImOn markets, use company-provided vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, be on your feet for several hours per day, and lift 100-pound cable vault lids.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Teamwork and Color Differentiation: Ability to work with others, differentiate colors to identify specific utility lines.
