We are seeking a qualified massage practitioner to enhance our team in a supportive and enriching environment. Our center features a serene tea bar and a curated selection of wellness products to aid our clients on their health journeys. With seven treatment rooms and a spacious yoga studio available for couples' sessions, we provide a unique setting for our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Embrace the Serasana philosophy of health and wellness, collaborating with colleagues to maximize client benefits from our services.
- Deliver massages for both scheduled clients and walk-ins, ensuring a tailored experience.
- Engage with clients to discuss their needs, medical backgrounds, and overall wellness goals.
- Guide clients through our range of services, providing recommendations for optimal health.
- Develop treatment plans that may include suggestions for yoga, acupuncture, meditation, and herbal remedies.
- Document detailed client histories, focusing on injuries and chronic conditions.
- Complete SOAP notes post-session to maintain accurate records.
- Customize massage sessions to address specific concerns or areas of discomfort.
- Issue Wellness Prescriptions as appropriate to support client health.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Massage Therapy License.
- Current Liability Insurance.
- Experience with Cupping and/or Hot Stones is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Requirements
- Availability to work 20-30+ hours weekly.
- Capability to frequently bend at the waist.
- Ability to assist clients with disabilities.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a tobacco-free lifestyle.
- Arrive at work free from the effects of drugs or alcohol.
