Mechanical Watchmaker

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Watchmaker is a skilled professional responsible for the testing and repair of mechanical watches for consumers and retailers. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure that all work meets the brand's quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Watchmaking: Tests and repairs mechanical watches using prescribed equipment and methods.
• Cleaning and Calibration: Cleans, adjusts, and calibrates watches to ensure optimal performance.
• Estimating and Quality Control: Ensures that estimates accurately reflect required servicing and that repair work meets brand quality standards.
• Productivity and Efficiency: Meets assigned productivity standards while maintaining a high level of quality.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills: Mechanical watch repair skills and knowledge of horological principles.
• Collaboration and Independence: Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a strong focus on self-motivation and time management.
• Education and Experience: WOSTEP certification or a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical watch repair.
