Nursing Manager

The Nursing Manager, with extensive experience in leadership and patient care, will oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit(s) at Ascension Via Christi St Francis hospital. This role involves managing resources, workflow, and activities to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of nurses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Hire, train, direct, develop, and evaluate staff members to guarantee efficient patient care delivery.
- IDentify and resolve issues affecting patient care services within the assigned units.
- Develop and implement policies to enhance health service delivery and adherence to budget guidelines.
This position comes with an estimated annual salary range of $83,000 - $120,000 based on location and experience. The benefits package includes paid time off, various health insurance options, retirement benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid Registered Nurse license from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within one month of hire date.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
