Corewell Health is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our team in Farmington Hills. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a Pharmacist to perform a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, and distribution of medication within the health system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparation, formulation, and distribution of medication
  • Fills medication orders, including oral, injectable, and topical medications, and intravenous admixtures
  • Assist in the bulk manufacturing of special pharmaceutical products
  • Prepares and distributes medications to appropriate locations
  • Inventories and restocks shelves in the immediate work area, checks for outdated drugs
  • Performs necessary record-keeping functions
  • Provides customer service and responds to requests appropriately
  • Maintains the work area in a safe, orderly manner
  • Maintains standards in USP Chapter [795] [797] when preparing, transporting, receiving, or handling non-sterile and sterile compounded products when applicable
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, fulfilling requirements towards a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • LIC-Pharmacist Intern - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
  • CRT-CPR - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
