Production Assembler

Compensation:
$18/hour plus an additional $2.00 for second shift work.
Your role will involve the precise and efficient assembly of components and machinery utilized in oilfield operations. You will uphold the quality and dependability of produced items while complying with safety regulations and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble machinery and components in accordance with technical plans and specifications. Employ both manual and power tools to execute assembly tasks with accuracy.
- Ensure that parts and assemblies meet the specified quality standards and established specifications.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly challenges and suggest enhancements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures to reduce the likelihood of accidents and injuries. Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Participate in the training of new staff and contribute to the ongoing improvement of assembly methods.
- Prior experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within the oilfield or manufacturing industry.
- Capability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly schematics. Skilled in the use of manual and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision to guarantee assembly quality. Effective teamwork and clear communication skills. Awareness of safety regulations and a commitment to safe working practices. Adaptability to shifting priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
1st shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 2nd shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM. VEVRAA Federal Contractor - priority referral of Protected Veterans requested.
