Senior Financial Analyst

MedQuest is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial initiatives, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and market-specific business driver analyses.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the MedQuest Finance team with complex ad-hoc and recurring analyses, including month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and operational KPI refinement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and provide financial data and insights to MedQuest executives, Regional VPs, center managers, and marketing teams.
  • Oversee multiple recurring workstreams and one-time projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reports and analyses.
  • Serve as a business partner to center managers and corporate department leads, providing financial guidance and support to drive business growth and decision-making.
  • Regularly identify and execute on additional opportunities for improvement or insight, driving process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare standard monthly and non-standard internal and Board-level reporting materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Build models and tools to automate or semi-automate business processes and reporting, based on specific needs of the finance team and other department leaders.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of progressive financial planning, analysis, and modeling experience, ideally in FP&A or Accounting at a growth-oriented company.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience with an accounting, investment banking, or private equity firm preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience with healthcare is preferred, but not required.
Core Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting standards.
  • Ability to think strategically at both an enterprise level and at a granular level, often leveraging details to derive strategic insights.
  • High proficiency with financial reporting and planning tools.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel & PowerPoint; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated track record of significant accomplishments, taking the initiative in engaging with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and influence relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to be creative and innovative in a fast-paced environment.
