Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement best practices and industry standards to design, code, and deploy robust and maintainable application components utilizing HTML, Advanced JavaScript, CSS, proprietary frameworks, and third-party tools. Attention to key architectural attributes such as performance and security is paramount in collaboration with the technical lead.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Quality Assurance practices, including experience with source code control repositories, debugging, and testing.
  • Stay informed about advancements in software development methodologies and technologies, particularly focusing on full stack web frameworks.
  • Effectively communicate and advocate ideas with management and peers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent technical work experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in developing distributed Internet/eCommerce applications that cater to high-traffic websites. Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and programming complex database-driven websites is essential.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong focus on designing and planning new features and resolving production issues while maintaining effective communication with the technical lead, scrum master, immediate team, and supervisor.

  • Strong understanding of web optimization techniques to enhance page load speed.
  • Extensive experience with AJAX/JSON.
