Eastern Iowa Community Colleges invites applications from experienced instructors to fill a part-time position teaching HVAC domestic heating courses. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of the industry by imparting your expertise to students.


Compensation and Benefits
  • The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $14,000 to $28,000, depending on the number of credits taught.
  • EICC retirees may be eligible for a higher compensation rate.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and delivering high-quality instructional materials and presentations.
  2. Evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback.
  3. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and assessment results.

Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent experience in HVAC or a related field is required.
  • Possessing a baccalaureate degree or higher in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students is essential.
