Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Store Shelving and Displays: Ensure that store shelves and displays are fully stocked and visually appealing, with products facing forward and at eye level.
  • Rotate Products: Regularly rotate products on shelves and in storage rooms to ensure that older products are sold before they expire.
  • Transport Products: Transport products from the backroom to the sales floor, using equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Display Promotional Material: Display promotional signs and banners in stores to promote Pepsi products.
  • Maintain Backroom Stock: Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition, with products organized by category and facing forward.
  • Communicate with Store Managers and Pepsi Management: Communicate any store issues or concerns to store managers and Pepsi management.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Build relationships with store personnel and customers, providing excellent customer service and responding to customer needs.
  • Comply with Operating Procedures: Follow established operating procedures, including scan-in/scan-out and designated routes.
  • Service Accounts: Service accounts during designated times, ensuring that products are fully stocked and displays are visually appealing.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Physical Capabilities: Must pass a physical capabilities test, if applicable.
  • Transportation: Must have a car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Insurance: Must have proof of insurance.
Helpful Experience
  • Retail Experience: Previous experience working in a retail business or grocery store, including understanding store operations and inventory management.
  • Product Movement: Experience moving products within a store, including safely stacking and moving products on equipment.
  • Merchandising: Experience merchandising products, including filling shelves, building displays, and rotating products.
  • Inventory Management: Experience managing backroom/stock room inventory, including organizing pallets and stacking and storing inventory.
  • Customer Service: Experience serving customers, including handling customer complaints and responding to customer requests.
