Position Overview
Compensation: $16.75 per hour
Work Schedule: Part-time, 2 PM - 10 PM, with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
The **Senior Living Care Assistant** plays a vital role in supporting residents by delivering exceptional care that aligns with our community standards. Responsibilities include:
- Responding to emergency situations and providing necessary assistance.
- Documenting care provided and observations about residents’ well-being.
- Transporting residents to various activities and appointments.
It is essential to have a genuine interest in working with the elderly population, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal grooming, bathing, and maintaining their living spaces.
- Record and report care activities and any notable changes in residents’ conditions.
- Measure and document vital signs, including height and weight.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a compassionate approach to resident care.
- Compliance with state educational requirements; CPR certification is preferred.
- First Aid certification and training in the Heimlich Maneuver may be provided by the company.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Previous experience working with elderly individuals, especially in memory care settings, is advantageous.
