Job SummaryWe are seeking a Commercial Lending Energy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our commercial lending team in identifying energy efficiency and clean energy opportunities for our borrowers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to borrowers and teammates to evaluate the feasibility of energy efficiency and clean energy generation opportunities.
- Develop best practices to help borrowers identify and secure applicable rebates, tax credits, and other incentives.
- Work closely with our Green Senior Business Development Officer to identify energy efficiency and clean energy generation opportunities that align with our sector focus areas.
- Lead energy efficiency and clean energy data collection for compliance and impact reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service and perform other duties as may be deemed necessary.
- Associate's degree in a related field and four years of clean energy or energy efficiency work experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience working in lending, construction, real estate development, community/economic development, or similar field is preferred.
- Strong commitment to our mission and sensitivity to working with underserved communities.
- Strong project management skills, including ability to set priorities and organize competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret data/information to evaluate transactions and make sound recommendations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present information in an effective manner.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and create partnerships with other Self-Help teams.
- Ability and willingness to work beyond normal work hours, as needed.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer relationship software.
