Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Accura HealthCare of Stanton, a person-centered 46-bed skilled nursing facility in Stanton, IA.

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents. You will work closely with our dietician to create menus and make menu alterations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to authorized menus and individual care plans
• Ensure that resident meals and other nourishments are served according to established schedules and procedures
• Adhere to written recipes, menus, and individual diet orders
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, counters, preparation, and storage areas
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a perpetual inventory of food and supplies

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in long-term care cook position (highly preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalency (preferred)
• CPR Certification (preferred)
