Cardinal Health is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to work as needed during facility hours and on call at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Golden. The successful candidate will adjust and dispense medication to patients, drive the compliant and efficient operations of the pharmacy, and supervise Pharmacy Technicians.
Responsibilities- Verify physician orders using the pharmacy information system and make adjustments according to protocols for a given medication.
- Provide patient education on the proper use and expected effects of medications.
- Manage narcotics and inventory control and compliance, including regular documentation and completion of checklists.
- Supervise Pharmacy Technicians to ensure the compliant and efficient operations of the pharmacy.
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Licensed, "good standing" pharmacist in the state of Colorado.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and on-call as needed.
- In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Anticipated hourly range: $55.40 per hour - $79.10 per hour.
Benefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws.
