Job Title: Project Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use analytical skills to model, analyze, and propose solutions for growth and recommend long-range strategies for customer/load growth.
  • Maintain compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare presentations and present to management and/or customers.
  • Coordinate projects between stakeholders from other affected departments.
  • Provide engineering for growth, expansion, and extensions projects.
  • Provide project oversight.
  • Perform computer-related functions such as engineering analysis, drawing, spreadsheets, and database compilations.
  • Perform or assist with marketing analysis, financial models, and revenue requirements.
  • Respond to customer growth/expansion requests, including site visits.
  • Survey and inspect routes.
  • Ensure that cost estimates meet company standards and current tariffs.
  • Perform individual lifts and carries office supplies up to 35 pounds.
  • Travel to jobsites, off-site meetings, and trainings (up to 25% travel per year) including overnight stays when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record.
  • Must have a B.S. degree in Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer's License is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Working knowledge or experience in real-world applications for developing engineered solutions.
  • Working knowledge of modeling software, preferably with SAP, line design, Winflow, and DDS.
  • Knowledge of International Fuel Gas Code, NESC, NEC, and the DOT. Part 191 and 192 is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
