Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as an Academic Faculty Position in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Special Education. This is a fixed-term appointment that will involve teaching a one-semester-long course.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate courses in all modes of delivery in both our CACREP-accredited master's rehabilitation counseling and doctoral rehabilitation counselor education programs
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to graduate students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in rehabilitation counselor education, rehabilitation psychology, or a closely related discipline
  • At least two years of experience in the field of rehabilitation services working with individuals with disabilities
  • Record of teaching graduate courses and/or providing clinical supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching and clinical skills and experience with diverse disability populations
  • Ability to promote diverse, inclusive, and culturally responsive teaching and clinical practices
  • Experience in providing quality mentoring and supervision at the graduate level
