We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MDS Director to join our team at Athena Health Care Systems. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the MDS process, ensuring accurate and comprehensive resident assessments, and developing effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the MDS process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of MDS reports
- Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the needs of each resident
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
- Ensure compliance with CMS regulatory guidelines and RAI Manual
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and quality care
Requirements:
- Must possess a minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing, college or university, RN preferred
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN/LPN in this state
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
