Job Summary

CareNow is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures to aid in the evaluation and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform timely and accurate radiology procedures, ensuring high-quality images for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians.
  • Conduct quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
  • Process specimens for reference laboratories and maintain accurate records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent to other labs.
  • Ensure occupational clients' preference cards are followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Assist with general patient care as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.
  • A Non-Registered Technician (NRT) license in the state of residency, if required by the state.
  • The ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
  • TEXAS ONLY: NRT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is required.
