We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Body Radiologist Physician to join our team at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers a competitive starting annual salary of $350,000-$400,000, with opportunities for performance pay and education debt reduction. You will have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Interpret advanced body MRI scans, including prostate and liver MRI, and low-dose CTs for our established Lung Cancer Screening Program.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, including Pulmonary, Liver/GI, and Genitourinary tumor boards.
- Contribute to the education of diagnostic radiology residents from the University of California, Irvine.
You will work in an outpatient and inpatient setting, with a 1:12 week call coverage schedule. Our team provides after-hours preliminary reads and pager coverage, with National Teleradiology Program covering after-hours final reads for emergent/inpatient studies.
