Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Trauma Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree.
