Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at SUITEMATE STAFFING SOLUTIONS INC. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Follow established cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and request additional supplies as needed.
  • Facilities Support: Assist in setting up facilities for special events, and may assist with opening and closing the building each school day.
  • Safety and Security: Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
Requirements
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Education and Training: Completion of sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow directions.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual: Bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read, understand, and communicate instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures; knowledge of minor repair techniques; ability to operate cleaning equipment and move heavy objects.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, sitting, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. Must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.
