Job Description

This role is located at the Child Development Center, Beale AFB, CA. As a Childcare Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of children and youth in our programs. You will ensure their safety and well-being, while also providing engaging experiences that promote their cognitive, emotional, and physical development.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and supervision to program participants
  • Assist in planning and conducting activities that cater to different age groups
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff members
Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 18 months of experience working in childcare or youth programs
  • A relevant certification or degree (e.g., child development associate credential, military school age credential)
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $18.21 and $20.61 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. As a employee of Air Combat Command, you will receive a 100% child care fee discount for all CYP direct care staff for the first child enrolled in a full-time or regular part-time DAF CDP.
