We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Southcoast Health System, Inc. in Fairhaven, MA. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and accurate radiation therapy treatment/simulations to patients.

• Prepare treatment rooms for each patient and participate in the orientation and education of patients to treatment regime.
• Oversee department quality assurance activities, including monitoring the daily machine and CT simulator.
• Effectively utilize problem-solving and negotiation skills to manage conflict.
• Model appropriate behavior at all times to patients and staff at all levels.

• An Associate's Degree in an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Good customer service skills are required, as evidenced through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working in an EMR environment with MOSAIQ exposure is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Chief Radiation Therapist and serve as a role model at all times is required.
• Certification and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current licensure in the state of Massachusetts is required.
