Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential problems and initiating appropriate measures to prevent complications.
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to universal precautions and infection control policies.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying up-to-date on the latest medical research and best practices.
- Contribute to the education of new staff members and students, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the quality of patient care.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Completion of the Nursing Department's orientation program and probationary period.
- NIHSS education prior to the end of the orientation period, if required.
- CCRN certification within two years of hire date, for all positions in Critical Care.
- ACLS certification preferred, BLS certification required.
- Competitive wages, with a starting rate of $29.50 (BSN) or $28.00 (non-BSN).
- Shift differential of $2.00.
- Generous sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, with a two-year work commitment.
- Monthly Loan Repayment program, with up to $5,000 in student loan repayment bonuses.
- Comprehensive benefit package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
- Up to five and a half weeks of paid time off annually, plus seven paid holidays each year.
