Catholic Charities of Chenango County is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our innovative Safe Options Support (SOS) team. In this critical role, you will work alongside our multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care to homeless individuals in our community.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments of health and social needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing short-term therapeutic counseling and support. You will also collaborate with local agencies, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.
To excel in this position, you should hold a licensed master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as social work, mental health counseling, nursing, or psychology. Experience working with homeless populations and knowledge of counseling principles and methods for mental illness and substance use disorders are significant advantages.
