Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Examiner to conduct standardized examinations and evaluate the competence of non-commercial and Commercial Driver License applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-road assessments to evaluate driving skills and competencies of applicants, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and standards.
  • Evaluate physical condition and driving qualifications of each applicant, verifying their eligibility for licensure.
  • Inspect mechanical condition of vehicles in accordance with established guidelines and standards, guaranteeing road safety.
  • Administer knowledge examinations for CDL and Non-CDL applicants, assessing their understanding of motor vehicle code and traffic signs.
  • Assess practical driving skills and ability to navigate complex driving scenarios.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual in Spanish (desired) to enhance customer service and communication.
  • Active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
  • No suspensions or revocations of a driver's license during the five-year period immediately preceding employment.
  • Ability to obtain an active unrestricted Class M driver's license within six months of employment.
  • Possession of an active Class A Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License or equivalent with endorsements P and N.
Work Schedule:

Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly. Work hours are 8:15 am to 4:45 pm, Tuesday - Saturday, with 30-minute lunch. Overtime and travel required.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $ $64,419 to $ $83,333 per year, based on experience and location.
