FAR Inspections is a leading provider of residential occupancy verification services for mortgage lenders. As a highly motivated individual, you will play a crucial role in helping us meet the demand for this service.

Our independent contractors earn predictable full-time or supplemental income and enjoy a flexible schedule. Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required but an ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines is essential.

We contract with inspectors at a county level, meaning you would be responsible for completing all inspections within your assigned territory. This may involve working independently or splitting counties with another inspector if there is enough volume.

The typical inspection should only take 5-6 minutes to complete, and you will have 4 days to report on the general property conditions and determine occupancy based on industry standards. You will also need to take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments and complete a short form in an app.

To succeed in this role, you must have a reliable vehicle, a smartphone (Android or iPhone), a printer, and pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license. Pay rates vary by county and volume, but you can earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour, making this a lucrative opportunity for those willing to put in the work.
