About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Use industry-leading technology to guide you through your daily routes and ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Subject to a drug screen and physical
  • Subject to DOT drug testing

  • Starting rates from $21.15 to $34.85 depending on experience
  • $3,500 sign-on bonus for CDL holders
