Position Overview

The organization is in search of a visionary Executive Chief Medical Officer (ECMO) to drive the advancement of clinical services and enhance patient outcomes across its healthcare facilities. This role demands a seasoned physician-executive who will focus on optimizing hospital operations and elevating the quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and nursing teams to ensure the delivery of safe and effective inpatient care.
  • Engage in strategic planning to enhance hospital services and improve patient care platforms.
  • Oversee the Chief Medical Officers and Associate Chief Medical Officers, ensuring operational excellence across various clinical departments.
  • Implement quality and safety initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement in patient care.
  • Lead efforts to optimize clinical workflows and support the integration of electronic medical records.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or MBBS degree from an accredited institution with board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, including 5 years in a leadership role within an academic health system.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems, including strategic planning and financial management.
  • Proven ability to foster innovative solutions and make informed decisions in complex situations.
  • Commitment to quality, patient safety, and enhancing the patient experience.
