Penske Body Shop Supervisor Job Description

The Penske Body Shop Supervisor is a key role in our team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our body shop. This includes managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians to achieve exceptional results
  • Oversee the completion of tasks, including cab and sheet metal repair, composite bonding, and surface preparation
  • Coordinate daily work duties and delegate responsibilities to team members
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of body shop management experience
  • At least 3 years of practical body shop experience
  • Estimator Certification required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational/technical school preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in truck and trailer repair
  • Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
  • Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
  • Work in all weather conditions
